Global M&A’s Mexico and Central America office was incorporated in 1990 to provide M&A-specialized advisory services and transaction execution capabilities to mid-size and large, private and public companies in Mexico and abroad, offering the highest level of professionalism and support. For over a quarter of a century, we have successfully closed over 140 deals.

Our team of professionals constitutes the largest team of M&A experts in Mexico, most of them with over 10 years of experience in M&A advisory, as well as operating experience is different areas such as finance, strategic planning, management, operations, manufacturing and marketing. This diversity of experience allows us to advise our clients with great objectivity, offering a broad business view and optimizing shareholder value through the design and execution of effective customized transactions always based on a hands-on approach. In addition to our team in Mexico, we also have an execution team based out of Central America.

Mr Plettner joined the firm in 2002 and has more than 11 years of experience in the investment banking industry.

Since his incoporation to the firm, he has participated in more than 60 transactions of sale, acquisition, debt and equity raising (private and public), restructures and valuations of diverse assets in a wide variety of industrial sectors.

Prior to joining the firm in 2002, Mr. Plettner worked for 3 years as manager of Publix, a graphic design studio, and Star Technologies, a company active in the design of information systems, businesses he founded in 1996 and 1997, respectively.

Previously, Mr. Plettner worked as a trainee in brand management at Procter & Gamble Mexico. During the summer of 2001, Mr. Plettner worked as a consultant at The Boston Consulting Group, where he worked on the merger of two multi-national food companies, and evaluated additional acquisition projects.
